Thistley Hough Academy was inspected by Ofsted in June 2026 under the inspectorate's new report card framework.

You can read the full report on the Ofsted website or download a copy from this page.

What did Ofsted find?

Under Ofsted's new framework, schools no longer receive a single overall judgement such as "Good" or "Outstanding". Instead, inspectors assess schools against a national benchmark known as the Expected Standard across a range of areas.

We are proud that inspectors found Thistley Hough Academy meets the Expected Standard in:

  • Achievement
  • Curriculum and Teaching
  • Inclusion
  • Leadership and Governance
  • Personal Development and Wellbeing

Inspectors also confirmed that all safeguarding standards are met.
