The U15 cricket team produced an excellent performance to defeat JCB Academy by 8 runs in the Barclays KnightStokes Cup 2026. Batting first, the team showed patience and composure, building a competitive total through strong communication and selfless batting. In the field, the boys demonstrated outstanding teamwork, encouraging one another and maintaining high standards throughout the innings. When defending the total, the bowlers showed great discipline under pressure, supported by sharp fielding and intelligent decisionmaking. A standout contribution came from Elliot Turner, whose leadership was evident throughout the match. He led by example, motivating teammates, organising the field, and remaining calm in key moments. His leadership played a crucial role in keeping the team focused during the final overs. Overall, it was a welldeserved victory that highlighted the team's resilience, teamwork, and leadership. #ThistleyHoughAcademy #CreativeEducationTrust
