Our Catering Facilities

At Thistley Hough Academy, we are proud to partner with Caterlink to provide a wide range of healthy, nutritious, and delicious meals for our secondary students. Our modern dining facilities offer a variety of hot and cold options each day, including vegetarian, vegan, halal, and allergen-friendly choices.

Students can enjoy balanced Meal Deals, freshly prepared snacks, and a selection of drinks, all designed to support their wellbeing and learning. Menus are regularly updated to reflect seasonal ingredients and student feedback, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

There are four convenient areas where students can access food and drink:

• Two indoor serveries for full meal options and comfortable dining
• Two outdoor ‘grab and go’ serveries for quick, convenient service during break and lunchtime

To make the process quick and secure, students access food using our biometric system, which links purchases to their individual accounts—removing the need for cash and speeding up service.

Free School Meals are available for eligible students, with allowances set to cover a full Meal Deal. Our aim is to make lunchtime enjoyable, inclusive, and accessible for all.
