Our safeguarding team works diligently to protect and promote the welfare of every learner, while our pastoral team plays a vital role in ensuring that students have accessible members of staff they can approach throughout the school day. Whether it’s helping them understand their feelings or fostering positive communication between school and home. This approach ensures that our young people are challenged academically while receiving the social and emotional guidance necessary for their overall well-being.

The Personal Development Tutor serves as the first point of contact for students, offering personalised guidance and support. They are instrumental in helping students navigate challenges, celebrate achievements, and develop important life skills. 

We also engage with a variety of external agencies to enhance the support available to our students. Collaborating with counsellors, educational psychologists, and school mentors allows us to provide specialised assistance tailored to individual needs. These partnerships with local authority-related agencies ensure that our students have access to comprehensive care that extends beyond the classroom, addressing any challenges they may face.
