Progress data is provided Nationally by the Department for Education in October (unvalidated 2023 results).The provisional figure for Thistley Hough is +0.16. This would make 2023 the best year in Thistley Hough Academy’s history.
The percentage of pupils staying in education or employment after KS4 in 2021 was 82%
Attainment data:
The percentage of students achieving a grade 4 or better in English and Mathematics in 2023 is 58%. This is the highest result ever for Thistley Hough Academy. The percentage of students achieving a grade 5 or better in English and Mathematics in 2023 is 34%.
The Academy secured an Attainment 8 score of 44.1 points.
The percentage of pupils entered for the English Baccalaureate at the end of KS4 in 2022 was 23%, which is 6% lower than the local authority average.
The percentage of pupils who’ve achieved the English Baccalaureate at the end of KS4 in 2022 was 14% for grade 4, the same as the local authority, while 11% gained a 5 or better, 3% above the local authority.
